The Rockies did us a solid in Philadelphia, trouncing the whatchamacallits and trimming our magic number to 13 on Tuesday night. Did somebody say 13? I’m sorry, I was just off somewhere thinking about Edgardo Alfonzo.

Don't apologize – 13 is a lucky number. My wife was born on the 13th, we met on the 13th (on her 21st birthday, which was a Friday, the 13th), my brother was born on the 13th, so was my sister-in-law, also my boss (?) and me on the 26th (double-13).
Fonzie and Billy Wagner. Doesn't get much better than that.
I was thinking Neil Allen. But Fonzie's good, too…
