ABOUT US
Faith and Fear in Flushing made its debut on Feb. 16, 2005, the brainchild of two longtime friends and lifelong Met fans.
Greg Prince discovered the Mets when he was 6, during the magical summer of 1969. He is a Long Island-based writer, editor and communications consultant. Contact him here.
Jason Fry is a Brooklyn writer whose first memories include his mom leaping up and down cheering for Rusty Staub. Check out his other writing here.

The Mets should consider this a friendly suggestion.
They should also look good in their new uniforms.
This is a test, by the way. We’ve been having a few technical problems and hope to work them out so you can visit our site with ease, link to previous articles and share your thoughts Metwise. Thank you for your patience.

You don’t say!
Do the “technical problems” have anything to do with why for the last few days when I try to open FAFIF on my phone or tablet some unwanted spammy looking shit also opens? Seems to be fine on my Chromebook and Laptop so I’ve been using that and didn’t bother to mention it until I saw this post.
..and, per the post, the Mets obliged…
I have noticed that too but only with the mobile version of the site. The desktop version doesn’t do the spammy thing.
New unis have the team looking like they just finished a shift in a coal mine. Maybe they’ll grow on me.
First, Alvarez’s thumb and now FAFIF. No!!!!
To my fellow Mets fans and fans of “Faith and Fear in Flushing”:
Patience; this too shall pass. While MESSers Prince and Fry labor furiously to correct the website glitches, let’s sit back AND ENJOY THE GREAT BASEBALL OUR TEAM IS PLAYING, OK?
Please excuse my outburst…
