Greg Prince and Jason Fry
Faith and Fear in Flushing made its debut on Feb. 16, 2005, the brainchild of two longtime friends and lifelong Met fans.

Greg Prince discovered the Mets when he was 6, during the magical summer of 1969. He is a Long Island-based writer, editor and communications consultant. Contact him here.

Jason Fry is a Brooklyn writer whose first memories include his mom leaping up and down cheering for Rusty Staub. Check out his other writing here.

Seeing how that worked out, before tomorrow's game I will pen an anguished attack on the rest of the starting nine.

    I was totally wrong about Martinez. But what about Castillo, being at the right place at the right time, every time? And Pelfrey, looking like he will kick more keister than even my optimistic ass expected this year. Three guys from our opening day lineup, and the Mets beat the Sox at Fenway 3-2, with a 2 out, 2 run homer off of Papelbon from Omir Santos.
    Dude, if you guys express a shred of negativity, I don't know. I mean, what an amazing win.
