Greg, that was beautiful. A fitting tribute to one of the Mets’ most important players ever. He didn’t have the longest Mets career, but he made an indelible impact on the franchise and New York athletics for eternity. He was one of my favorite Mets of all time, any generation. Your last line made me cry.
