ABOUT US
Faith and Fear in Flushing made its debut on Feb. 16, 2005, the brainchild of two longtime friends and lifelong Met fans.
Greg Prince discovered the Mets when he was 6, during the magical summer of 1969. He is a Long Island-based writer, editor and communications consultant. Contact him here.
Jason Fry is a Brooklyn writer whose first memories include his mom leaping up and down cheering for Rusty Staub. Check out his other writing here.

The blog for Mets fans who like to read… Profanity!!
I'm ashamed of you.
Let's Go Mets…again!!!
Good thing I'd written most of my Game One post before biting my nails down to my knuckles.
-Ray, too sore to login
Word
I know now what I want for Christmas this year.
A Wright 5 jersey, with dirt all over the front, like he wears it.
The yard space in front of my Central Florida townhouse is about as big as an on-deck circle, but there's no ballfield dirt in it. So, to be authentic, I need that dirt imprinted on the front of the jersey. If anyone knows where I can get one, let me know.
(Don't worry, guys, I've already ordered my FAFIF jerseys.)
I'd say the substance is pretty spot on. Or to paraphrase Team America…
METS — FUCK YEAH!!!
I can't think of anything more substantive than that. Why burden yourself unnecessarily?
How about beating Brad “Fuckface” Penny…?
Nothing more is necessary :)
I'd like to reiterate, about 13 hours later, if I might without disrupting some cosmic rotunda … FUCK YEAH!
