Faith and Fear in Flushing made its debut on Feb. 16, 2005, the brainchild of two longtime friends and lifelong Met fans.

Greg Prince discovered the Mets when he was 6, during the magical summer of 1969. He is a Long Island-based writer, editor and communications consultant. Contact him here.

Jason Fry is a Brooklyn writer whose first memories include his mom leaping up and down cheering for Rusty Staub. Check out his other writing here.

Things are going OK at baseball camp, I guess. We just finished playing the kids from Camp Diamondback and we did pretty good. We played four games and won two which is better than we’ve done in a while.

Mets Fan Club for Minority Owners

I get the feeling that whoever conceived the already infamous Mets Investor Partnership Benefits section of the “term sheet” revealed by Richard Sandomir in the Times put it together as soon as he or she finished updating the Mets Fan Club for Kids membership form.

Wright Out, Fright In

David Wright is one second opinion away from going on the Disabled List. MRI revals lower back stress fracture. Examination of Mets roster reveals no obvious alternatives for third base or the batting order. True, he was mostly sucking, but just as true, he’s David Wright.

Rest is allegedly what’s required to get this injury better. […]
